As a career bike messenger, artist Dustin Klein’s involvement and influence within the track bike and urban cycling world began in 2000. Since that year, cycling has exploded and Dustin has emerged as an influential force within the sub-culture, producing videos, organizing large-scale community ride events, launching blogs and pioneering his brand, Cadence, in 2003.
Building off of the original concept, DVS and Dustin Klein have developed a deeper and stronger relationship which is evident through the detail and impression of their latest undertaking. This capsule collection balances function and aesthetics through the interconnection of each piece.
DVS Milan CTC Cadence: Thicker and stiffer lasting board to prevent foot fatigue.Reflective elements for improved night visiblity. Suede overlay for cage grip. Mesh underlay for breathability and comfort. Perforated leather and backing material for breathability. Custom tongue design that enables lace protection from catching on toe cage.
CTC Technology: The inner core of this construction uses a stiffened lasting board to decrease fatigue while cycling. Cruise control technology utilizes a die cut, contoured and vulcanized PU sock liner to provide full-length comfort in the footbed. The extra heel and arch support provide ultimate cushioning and supreme flexibility. Modified rubber compound sole for better abrasion resistance and increased tensile strength. CTC (Classic Tribute Cycling) is only available on select DVS models.
